In a move that is sure to delight shoppers across Sri Lanka, Cargills Food City has announced a generous discount scheme for Bank of Ceylon (BOC) cardholders.

The promotion, which runs until the 29th of May, offers up to 25% off on fresh vegetables, fruits, and seafood, exclusively for BOC credit and debit card users.

The offer is valid on select days of the week, specifically Sundays and Wednesdays, allowing customers to plan their shopping accordingly to take advantage of the savings. Credit card users can enjoy a 25% discount, while debit card users are entitled to a 10% reduction on their purchases of fresh produce.

Shoppers are reminded that the discount is applicable on a range of fresh items, including vegetables, fruits, and seafood – staples of the Sri Lankan diet that are essential for a healthy lifestyle. The promotion is set to run on the 1st, 5th, 8th, 12th, 15th, 19th, 22nd, 26th, and 29th of May, giving plenty of opportunities to save.

There are certain conditions to keep in mind to be eligible for the discount. A minimum bill value of Rs.4,000 is required, and the maximum discount per transaction is capped at Rs.1,000. Additionally, there is a limit of 5kg or 5 units per bill, ensuring that the offer reaches as many customers as possible.

BOC cardholders are limited to one transaction per day, allowing them to make the most of the promotion throughout its duration. This initiative by Cargills Food City is part of their commitment to providing value to their customers and encouraging healthy eating habits among the Sri Lankan population.
