In a move that is sure to delight shoppers across Sri Lanka, Cargills Food City has announced a generous 25% discount on fresh vegetables, fruits, and seafood.

This exclusive offer is available to all People’s Bank credit cardholders and is applicable on purchases made on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The promotion, which runs until the 30th of May, 2024, is part of Cargills Food City’s commitment to providing value to its customers while promoting healthy eating habits.

The discount applies to a wide range of fresh produce, ensuring that shoppers can enjoy the bounty of Sri Lanka’s rich agricultural produce at a fraction of the cost. To take advantage of this offer, customers must have a minimum bill value of Rs. 4,000 and can receive a maximum discount of Rs. 1,000 per transaction. Additionally, there is a limit of 5kg or 5 units per bill, allowing families to stock up on nutritious food options.

Valid dates for the discount are the 2nd, 7th, 9th, 14th, 16th, 21st, 23rd, 28th, and 30th of May. This initiative not only supports local farmers by encouraging the purchase of local produce but also aligns with People’s Bank’s efforts to provide added benefits to its cardholders.

As part of the terms and conditions, each cardholder is entitled to one transaction per day, ensuring that as many customers as possible can benefit from this offer. Cargills Food City and People’s Bank are excited to bring this promotion to their loyal customers and look forward to contributing to the health and well-being of Sri Lankan families.
