ULC Allows Study Course Order of Preference Change For Z-Score Affected Candidates 29 Jul 2012

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has decided to allow the candidates who have already submitted applications for University Admission based on the results of the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination held in 2011 to change if they wish to do so, the Order of Preferences marked by them for various courses of study.

This only applies to candiates whose Z-Scores are affected as a result of the Z-Scores re-calculation as per the judgment made by the Supreme Court on 25/06/2012

Those who wish to make a request to change the Order of Preferences should do so in writing according to the form here and send it under registered cover to reach the Additional Secretary (Academic Affairs & University Admissions), University Grants Commission, No.20, Ward Place, Colombo 07 on or before 08th August 2012.

Please note that the requests for change of preferences made after 8 August 2012 will not be considered for university admission under any circumstances.
